Eivind Aarset Band

Eivind is a regular member of Nils Petter Molvær's group, which through "Khmer" and "Solid Ether" is familiar to Europeans. He has participated at over 150 albums.

His musical profile have been developed over time and is influenced by artists spanning from Jimi Hendrix to Mahavishnu Orchestra. During the last years important inspiration have been found through the band Ab & Zu, in the cooperation with Bendik Hofseth and Bugge Wesseltoft. In 1998 "Electronique Noir" was released on Jazzland Rec. Now "Light Extracts", is available through Jazzland Rec.
