For Palle Mikkelborg, listening to music is like travelling, travelling across musical genres and cultural borders. It represents the possibility to create inner pictures that can remind individuals of their origin and the meaning of our existence.

Singer Moussa Diablo made a guest appearance on Palle Mikkelborg's latest CD "Song... Tread lightly". Both enjoyed this so much that they decided to continue the cooperation.

Drummer Klavs Menzer has never worked with Palle Mikkelborg before "Journey to...".

Harpist Helen Davies has been working with Palle Mikkelborg for years and Palle Mikkelborg co-produced and played on her solo album "Open the door softly".

"Journey to..." draws it's inspiration from the strong personalities and diverse cultural background of the members. It immediately finds its place in Palle Mikkelborg's universe based upon inspiration from the Nordic light, the Celtic spirit, afro rythms, and contemporary electronic sounds, all stemming from his basic search for silence through sound...
